Autism Spectrum Conditions are social sensory processing differences where an individual's ability to process and act upon information received via social stimuli creates challenges in social interaction, resulting in difficulties in emotional regulation and communication. Processing differences in other senses, their overall health, a bell-curve of IQs and the environmental intertwine with the social sensory processing differences to create a broad sphere of individuals.

The exact neurobiological & nervous system differences are still to be pinpointed. There is incredible diversity & potential in the autistic population, we just need to learn how to support their sensory & emotional regulation thus creating the conditions for growth and development.
